About Our Asphalt
Patch Repair Services

Asphalt patching is a cost-effective way to repair damage to asphalt surfaces. It is a quick and targeted repair method that can help maintain the safety and quality of asphalt surfaces. Unlike asphalt paving, patching focuses only on areas affected by damage.

Our process begins with saw cutting the perimeter of the affected area.  Saw cutting depth can vary depending on the existing thickness of the asphalt and the desired repair depth. preparing the affected area by removing any loose debris that could affect the adhesion of the patch. We take preparation a step further by ensuring the patch site is dry, as moisture can cause the patch to fail prematurely.

Once the patch site is prepared, our team begins the removal process. Small patches can be prepped using hand tools or jack hammers. Larger areas require machines, such as skid steers with cold planers, or mills. These specialized tools are used to grind existing asphalt at precise depths. The removed asphalt, referred to as millings, can be recycled and. The advantage of this approach is these repairs are often precise, cost effective, and minimally intrusive to day-to-day operations.

Once milled and swept, our team begins installing new hot mix asphalt. Depending on the severity of the damage, this can include 1-2 “lifts” or layers of asphalt. These layers are installed and compacted, leaving a smooth, safe finished surface. Upon completion, edges are sealed to prevent future water infiltration and deterioration.
