The first step will be to mill and remove the existing surface layer of asphalt. Milling machines are used to remove the surface layer uniformly, leaving a smooth, crack free surface for your new asphalt to adhere to.  

A uniformed tack coat is then applied to ensure adhesion between the layers of asphalt. Using professional equipment, hot asphalt is laid and compacted, typically at a depth of 1.5” to 2” thickness. Once cooled, pavement lines and markings can be applied and reopened to traffic.
